Family is so grateful for the changes! LearningRx Santa Rosa, CA Review

Joshua was 8 when he started training at LearningRx.  He was diagnosed with ADHD, fetal alcohol syndrome and multiple partial complex seizures.  One if his parents’ goals for Joshua was that he would be able to consistently remember how to dress himself as he would often forget the order of underwear and pants.   In school Joshua needed many more repetitions than his classmates to grasp basic concepts, and then when he did grasp them, there were times after a seizure he would need to start back at the beginning.  His teacher said it was like someone took an eraser to his brain while he was sleeping.  Simple things like remembering the difference between nickels and dimes were not something he could keep in his memory. Joshua completed a brain training program, and even I am impressed.  He is a different child from when he started his program.  He is now able to recognize others on the playground and remember their names which has helped him develop stronger friendships.  He consistently dresses himself without any problems.  While he is not performing “at grade level”, Joshua now participates in class and is able to follow along with his classmates.  He is able to complete assignments independently and is all around a happier boy.  His family is so grateful for the changes in Joshua’s abilities and his confidence and I could not be more proud of this hard working boy.
