“LearningRx helped him to realize that with a good plan, a positive attitude and a good work ethic, you can achieve things that at first seem impossible”

As a family philosophy, we have always educated ourselves about neuroplasticity. We believe that a healthy diet, clean environment, and proper stimulation contribute to good brain health. When we learned about brain training through LearningRx, we were excited about how it may be able to help our son. Although our son has always been an excellent student with good grades, he was challenged with some different types of difficulties in school – he struggled to pay attention in class and work through noise and other distractions. Many days, he would come home from school either forgetting his books, or writing down the wrong assignment.

When we first started LearningRx, he said it was really challenging and he didn’t think he would ever be able to memorize all presidents forwards, let alone backwards. After 12 weeks of perserverance and great training, he can name all presidents forwards AND backwards. He says that makes him feel “awesome” about himself. He said the class was fun, but sometimes frustrating. He said it was hard to make his brain focus on these tricky tasks. But he got better every week and our son said that he is proud of what he has accomplished in the program. Our son said that he has learned to work through a lot of distractions and feels prepared and excited for the start of his 5th grade school year. We are thrilled to see his progess and witness his confidence. He has memorized his books, assignments, and all school items EVERY day so far in the first three weeks of school. He has a great attitude about going to school. His teacher has already referred to him as an awesome and responsible student. Our son will take these lessons with him, along with a new sense of confidence about himself. LearningRx helped him to realize that with a good plan, a positive attitude and a good work ethic, you can achieve things that at first seem impossible. Great experience overall! And GREAT work by his trainer, Kellie, to bring out his best every week
