Future is Bright! LearningRx Charlottesville, VA Review

Pre-teen sees big changes with LearningRx Brain Training In February of 2017, a despairing eleven year-old boy reluctantly walked into Learning Rx.  A boy, who felt as though he’d been evaluated and gauged his entire life.  From one appointment, one analysis, to the next.  From one teacher, one special ed classroom, to the next.  This boy, so desperate to learn and frantic to fit in, just couldn’t. Initial testing revealed that this 5th grader, cognitively, compared to 2nd graders.  In all areas of evaluation, he tested significantly below level.  We began training immediately.  It was intense.  Three days a week, 90 minute sessions, sometimes Friday night, sometimes Saturday morning, brutal for a pre-teen.  There were days when he would cry, even resist drop-off at the center.  Then there was Heather… In May, a new connection was made, Heather Spence became the brain trainer.  Whereas the repetitious mental exercises noticeably enriched this boy’s cognitive skills, Heather Spence made the greatest impact!  The bond that formed, that unified a team of two, will never be forgotten by my son.  Not only was Heather able to keep him fighting, “do it again,” she also built, pebble by pebble, a self-confidence, a conviction, a quality, a value no longer present within this young boy. In June, the nearly 12 year-old, read his first book independently.  In December, he participated in a play with a speaking part, a dancing part, and even played the chimes during several songs.  With a heart of gold and a lifetime of possibilities, this boy’s future is bright.  Thank you LearningRx, thank you Heather...

LearningRx played a key role in success! LearningRx Atlanta-Buckhead, GA Review

Daughter has award-winning year after LearningRx brain training! I just wanted to take a moment to reach out and provide you with an update on Chloe. She had a phenomenal 1st year of middle school. She academically soared, socially sustained and continues to show great promise as dancer. She is wrapping up 6th grade with 5 A’s and 2 B’s. Yesterday at the annual school Honors Day program, she received a record 4 awards: Prestigious A/B Honor Roll for the entire year, Honors in Math, Prestigious Art Award and IB Most Reflective Learner Award. We actually think she won a 5th, waiting on confirmation today. We could not be more proud of Chloe. It brings tears to my eyes to see how much she improved. She is so confident, works well independently and manages her stress with such grace and poise. She is a different student and I know that her LRX training played a key role in her success story. Thank you again for making a difference. Wendy...

Positive, Friendly Environment! LearningRx Santa Rosa, CA Review

Brain Trainer reflects on time working with students Being a Brain Trainer at LearningRx for nearly the last 2 years was fantastic, but unfortunately it has come to and end. Not only was this an incredible place to work, the job was also fulfilling. Suzi, the Director, worked very hard to create a positive and open working environment, where her employees could ask questions and give open, constructive feedback to better our training methods. Especially when I started, this made me much more at ease while learning the ropes. Not only that, but it fosters a friendly and open atmosphere; all of my coworkers are jovial and chipper to each other and the clients. Not just their own specific clients, but ALL of the clients. No matter which trainer trains whom, everyone makes sure to talk to and engage with clients as soon as they walk through the door, welcoming them and making them feel at home. One of the biggest takeaways I have from my time at LearningRx, are all of the instances where my clients had some kind of breakthrough. Whether it was on a certain procedure they were struggling on, or especially when they identified an improvement in their life because of the work they are doing at LearningRx, it always brought a smile to my face. I knew that I was able to help this individual achieve something that they have not been able to do before, or made something a lot easier and now they do not spend as much time doing it, like homework or chores. If you are looking for or are interested in working one-on-one with children, teens, or adults, I highly recommend applying to be a cognitive skills trainer at LearningRx. It has a positive environment, everyone is friendly, and if you ever have difficulty with something, you have a dedicated team of talented trainers to help back you up. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working at LearningRx, and I will miss it dearly. Nick...

Exceeded Expecations! LearningRx Columbus-Dublin, OH Review

Son moved up two reading levels with LearningRx brain training Learning Rx not only met but exceeded our expectations for our son. If you are thinking of trying it for your child, this is the right place. Our son had difficulty focusing and concentrating in the classroom which lead him to feeling confused and defeated at school. After working with learning Rx and our exceptional teacher Mrs. Kitty, our son began to excel in all subjects due to his new learning strategies he learned. His confidence grew both inside the classroom as well as out. He moved up two reading levels and more than doubled in all other subject areas. We are very grateful for all he has learned. Thank you and we look forward to his continued success. Lora...

I would recommend this program to anyone! LearningRx Chattanooga, TN Review

Daughter blossomed in one-on-one brain training program Improved ability to focus, pay attention, complete a chore/assignment, plan and organize. I also saw a significant improvement in her attitude, self confidence and self esteem and a huge decrease in frustration. I saw such improvements in my child, not only in her academic ability, but most of all in her attitude, self confidence, and overall personality. She blossomed in this program. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone. Kelly H.
