We first thought about taking Adam to LearningRx when we discovered he was having so much trouble reading at home. At school he could not get the amount of AR points he was supposed to, each 9 weeks! In elementary school he had special dyslexia classes but was dismissed when he went to middle school. After he tested at LearningRx I was amazed at how we found out how much he was struggling! So, we signed up for his 6 month program. Jeffery has loved going to LearningRx so much. He has never complained at all about it. The trainer they picked for him was perfect. It was like Ms. Kate understood him from day one. She was great at pushing him and encouraging him. Adam also met other trainers and they were always nice and would stop and talk to him. That helped him feel so good about himself. I cannot tell you how many times I have went to his room and found him lying in bed and reading a book! There have also been times when we are going somewhere, he will bring a book to read on the way. His last 9 weeks of school he had 46 AR points! A miracle. He seemed so proud of himself now, that he can read and understand what’s going on. I am so glad we heard about LearningRx for our son. It’s a great place. We are going to miss Ms. Kate so much! She is an awesome person and has touched our lives in a wonderful...

After a rough start, Josh really seemed to enjoy his work. He says he feels like his concentration at school has improved. I have been excited to see him work outside his comfort zone. Josh avoids activities that are not naturally easy for him (as do many of us!). I think it is a great benefit for him to keep working through the LearningRx activities and realize that he can accomplish the tasks. He especially enjoyed the President memorization and the competitions.

LearningRx was a great success for Hannah. First, we noticed how she responded quicker and was able to think faster in situations. Hannah always seemed to suffer from low self-esteem. Our family noticed how she began to blossom and to gain confidence at home and at school. Her reading skills became stronger. Hannah now reads smoothly and does not struggle with words. She reads faster and comprehends what she has read! Hannah’s memory skills have also increased. She always struggled remembering details, but now we see how she has totally changed. The speech problems that she had are gone too. Hannah speaks clearly and tells stories in great details. She enjoyed working with her trainer every week. Her trainer always challenged Hannah to get to the next level. This is a wonderful program! Our family is very pleased with all of Hannah’s success from...

Our story actually began the summer of 2008. Our daughter Candice was hospitalized for ten weeks suffering from encephalitis. She was in a coma for five weeks. Candice had to learn to walk, eat, and talk again. We knew we had a tough and long road ahead of us. Once we got her back in school she was in kindergarten and had to be placed in special Ed. Every parent has hope for their child to grow up and learn without struggling. We started looking into options that could help Candice do better in school and also to help raise her self-esteem. LearningRx was brought to our attention. We decided to take her to be tested and to weight our options. Her test scores were very low which in turn broke our heart, but we weren’t giving up. Last November Candice started the Einstein program. Due to the illness Candice had she was considered to be a traumatic brain injured child. Rachael was her trainer and a very good one at that. It took a lot of patience and time for Candice to catch on, but she started doing better. Her reading and her spelling have improved so much. Math has gotten a lot easier for Candice, also. Candice’s attitude has gotten better along with her behavior. She laughs and smiles more and seems happier. Homework has also become easier for her. I thank God and all the people at LearningRx for working with Candice and never giving up on her. We are still in special Ed at school, but we believe one day she will be able to join the regular classroom setting. The improvement I have seen in Candice, I know will continue. And most of all we want to thank God for the...
